In 2021, Monext processed 5 billion transactions and confirmed its position as a key payment player with growth of over 24%.

A record year
Monext confirmed its leading position on the French payments market, with in particular:
- On-line business up 28% (+12 points compared to the French market1), exceeding 800 million transactions, i.e. around 40% of the French market.[1]
- In-store business up 23% and exceeding the 2.6 billion transactions mark.
- Issuing business recording growth of around 20% to reach 975 million transactions.
Monext Retail services for merchants have attracted new references such as La Redoute and Taxi G7.
Spurred on by the specific situation over the last two years, which acted as an accelerator for some uses, “SoftPOS”, the latest of Monext’s services, transforms any Smartphone into a payment terminal. It is already in a pilot phase with several major French banks.
For Monext Bank & Fintech, the mobile payment service was a great success among both conventional banks and fintechs.
Monext recorded €92.3 million in turnover (up 8.6%). Monext is also planning to hire more than fifty employees in 2022 to support its growth.
